Stefan Hinkelmann can be counted as one of the most experienced Traceur/ Stuntmen in Germany, with 18 years injury free experience to his name. In the time before the ‘Sport Parkour’, well known through You Tube, it was clear to him, that he wanted to, and would go on to develop himself and move on from what he had learnt as a previous member of the special unit NATO-armed forces.
After spending time in the army he was an independent tour guide and survival trainer in the Black Forest. His second greatest passion being climbing as a sport, and mountaineering. He was so successful in this area, that he became a product material tester for well named sports companies and also attended many important conferences. His greatest personal success as a mountaineer is the ‘Eiger Northwestflanke’, which he climbed free solo in January 2006. Through his sports successes, advertising companies soon came to notice him for use in well known photographs. He had never given up on the Parkour but had always kept it as his fitness programme. And so it didn’t take long for the advertising world to discover him and win him over. This has allowed him to earn his living through sport since the middle of 2007.
Today he works mainly as a stunt double, stunt coordinator, show actor, holding workshops and leading seminars, as a sportsmodel, personal trainer and also a product material tester for Outdoorsport Equipment.
