    Banned dogs - thoughts

@sidpost I have quite enjoyed the content within this thread, it certainly serves to highlight that perhaps banning a breed will do 1 of 2 things, 1. either make owning one even more "manly/egoy" amongst ne'er-do-wells, let's face it, if they buy one to help them in their illegal dastardly...

Autumn's here, the spiders are trying to come indoors !

@Pattree I think you perhaps misunderstand...we all have fears anyone laughing at mine isn't funny to me, but I can respect that me jumping 10ft in the air over a spider is probably pretty funny to others... so in a manner it somewhat becomes quite funny. I'll then proceed to deal with the...

Autumn's here, the spiders are trying to come indoors !

I must admit, I find peoples phobias of animals do make me laugh hard, I don't mean to and I do totally get that it's not nice when someone is fearful , but I genuinely can't help it.... I wouldn't however go out if my way to push that fear for someone... "oh you don't like spiders?" *throws...

@Toddy A small cup of vinegar is good to get rid of fruit flies.... well... it attracts them, so I'm not sure the range of attraction... but they often drown in it.

Autumn's here, the spiders are trying to come indoors !

Ugh, I really don't like spiders... As the man of the house I have to be.... well..the man of the house, so they're my job to deal with. What I've noticed over the last few months is the appearance of really small jumping spiders, I must admit, they're kinda cute. I'd say they're sort of money...

    Banned dogs - thoughts

I've just today read about another attack but apparently not an XL bully. It just reminded me of something I read a month ago about how now is the time lockdown puppies are reaching their sort of troublesome adolescence.. Makes me wonder if all this is somewhat coincidental, poor owners dogs are...

@British Red Ooof, can't be banning booze. The tax loss would be huge. @Wildgoose You've made a fantastic post. I really like your comment regarding honesty and it's so true. I know my dog is not the biggest fan of excited big dogs (typically males), if they come up to her all gung ho she...

@Cuckoo996 I too hope people are not offended by your points, they're valid...I certainly don't disagree with you when I see how some dogs are humanised, but perhaps I do disagree in your own eyes. My dear doggo is a great friend and she enjoys snuggling up close, but we have various...

What would you not be able to do if your phone died ?

To be fair, the lack of situational awareness seems to be ingrained in a lot of folk I see these days... phone or otherwise!! :lmao:

@Decacraft "Of all the stories of attacks in the news, have all owners been general folk or the kind that want this kind of dog as a status?" THIS is exactly the question that needs asking before I think dogs should be banned. As stated too many times now, I'm not a fan of these ego breeds...

@Paul_B ....I'm aware that small dog bites can still hurt, I have the scars on my hand from my dear near blind & deaf terrier who took hold of my hand instead of her squeaky toy during play time.... I'm not convinced its a sentence that requires a continual back and forth. We all know small...
