Own and run an outdoor adventure and bushcraft company in the North Lake District.
Also run a first aid training company and operate as an associate instructor for a range of outdoor and training organisations.
Previously National Training Manager for Outward Bound, part time lecturer for several outdoor courses at the University of Cumbria, mentor and assessor for the Institute of Outdoor Learning (IOL) Accredited Practitioner Scheme & chair for the Northern Region of IOL exec committee.
Proud to have been part of the initial discussions around starting the IOL Bushcraft Special Interest Group and the Bushcraft Practitioner scheme.
And (finally!) truly an outdoorsman for life ever since I started toddling around my parents orchards, meadows and woods in Cornwall from a very early age.
Anything outdoors really including canoeing, climbing, wild camping and good quality family time!
