I recently got one of these. The specs you can find on the net do indeed say that it goes down to -40, which happens to be the point at which centigrade and Fahrenheit are equal (-40f = -40C). I hope never to have to sleep out at that temperature and I am not convinced that it is good for this...- richardincam
