....to clarify......I bought a good quantity from Turners late last year and left them with just a few pieces I felt weren't ideal for my work. It was a very expensive trip and purchase. I would love to know if they have changed their mind and got new stock in????

Yes they do.... they have the ones I chose not to buy when I went there last time. Turners aren't getting any more knots though (so they told me) and they're not in the new catalogues. Also, they were typically very expensive...about £18-20 each for a "roughed out" knot. Funny...
Yes, that is rather obvious - if we had any Pines in this area then I would be harvesting the knots already. What few woods we have around here are very small and have not Pine trees. If you have any access and can supply me with the raw knots I'm all ears
