Anyone a fan of tinned fish?

Ah no. I'm in Ireland, no Sainsbury near me. Unfortunate, just for the fish. Haha

Anyone a fan of tinned fish?

I like most tinned fish. Practically lived on tinned tuna for a while, so don't particulay like it it or dislike it but it's food. The other stuff I like... Tesco has some interesting Mackerel flavours. They used to do one in Teriyaki sauce I liked, but haven't seen it in a while

Classic Mora, what’s your go to?

They have the Classic King's Knife which is 12c27. But it's a pricey one. Pretty though.

    Buschcraft, fishing and PTSD

I can't speak for PTSD, but fishing has always been my mental 'reset'. When I can't go I feel myself slipping mentally. A day at the lake by myself with some peace and quite seems to fix it for a while and gives my mind something to fixate and obsess over for a bit before and after. When I...

    Big / Full size axes

You know, that does sound like a good time. Can't remember the last time I went outside and just smashed something to pieces for no reason. @Pattree - This is the best thing I've read in a while. That's exactly the thing. Anything I need to do, can be done with a saw... but I guess saws aren't...

    Big / Full size axes

I'm in the middle of cleaning up an old Spearwell 4 1/2 lb axe which was lying on the floor outside when we moved in. Just got the rust off of it, lessened the mushrooming, and after much swearing, the old handle is out (I don't know why it had 5 of those little metal wedges in it instead of a...

    Rough Ryder pocket knives

Ah brilliant. I'll have a look. Mine is actually in pocket right now. Really useful to have the three blades. Though when I go into a woody area I carry my Vic camper for the saw and awl. But around the house I still really like my stockman

Best option for a slicey, 3-4” full tang stainless blade with a flat grind?

What did you end up getting, if anything? Just a thought - I've been using the Tesco kitchen knives for about 6 years and am actually fond of them. The paring knife especially is really nice to use. I use them every day. They're 4116, cheap and hold an edge well enough plus easy to touch up...

Looking for resin for fire lighting glue etc?

Another thing I know in theory and have never actually tried. Must get out and try glue something together with resin

    Rough Ryder pocket knives

I have a large stockman with the yellow plastic scales that I use as a general purpose knife around the house. I thought I'd try it out and get a nicer one if I liked the pattern. The different blade types are very useful. Now it's not perfect. The spring on the spey blade is a little weak...
