Decided that it’s time to treat myself to a nice folder to accompany my Opinel. Ideally UK legal to carry and i’m looking for something more traditional looking instead of tactical. I have no idea whats out there so looking to you lovely people for recommendations.

Picked up an Msr pocketrocket from go outdoors this weekend. First impressions are it’s really small/light but packs a punch! I’ll use it at work tomorrow.

Ah, I’ve left it inflated with the valve closed while I’m away the weekend. The end with the valve seemed much chunkier than the foot end, hoping it sorts itself over the weekend.

I know there's lighter bags but I wanted something tough that would last me. I'll have to sit down at somepoint and put everything I plan on taking, minus the sleeping bag etc which I don't have and see what it leaves me.

Like I say, the sleeping kit is a backup really but will be well worth taking! That stove looks cheap enough and small, Gas shouldn't be too hard to pick up if I run out?

There may be two of us so might be handy in that respect and I've already got it so saves buying another. I'm aiming to go as light as possible, around 10kgs ideally.
