Jamie L Burleigh is a wilderness expert and outdoors educator. He works full-time as the Lead Instructor for The Pathfinder School as a survival instructor and primitive skills expert. His skills go beyond the outdoor classroom. You can find him running a trapline in a Michigan winter to chasing catfish in the summer. He splits his time between teaching and writing about the outdoors. He is happily married with five children and is constantly furthering his training. He endeavors to mix the old ways with the new and the passing on these skills are high on his list of priorities.
