Father of two, husband of one. Have been wild camping since I was 8 years old when I used to go with my Swiss Uncle into the woods for a week every summer to learn how to survive off the land. Spent many weeks in scotland as a teenager with 4 of my friends living off the land. As a youth I was a ground dweller but have recently discovered hammock camping and have defected to the trees (might be age related). My 8 year old daughter accompanies me now on expeditions into the forest and loves it! I love making my own kit, refining it, and trying out new things. Nothing relaxes me more than re-packing my go bag ;-)
