Government set to scrap job protection for Territorial Army heroes

I'm glad I'm not the only one to dislike the word hero. That's not to say there aren't many well deserving of the title - so do we call them superhero's? I didn't want to make it a political post - I was just hoping someone had a bit more information on the subject.

for sale: Lowa Super Camp 9.5

thinking about it and being fair to Lowa I should say: this is my first pair of big boys all leather boots. After a bit of impregnation and leg work they break in very nicely. Lowa's are built to last for many years and start off stiff, and I wasn't used to tightening boots quite as much as...

for sale: Lowa Super Camp 9.5

Hi Mark, thanks for the interest I normally take 9's so I bought these thinking 9.5's would be ok with thick socks. They were too big. I ended up buying 8.5 in Super Camp II. The bloke who I bought my 8.5's from said some people need a bigger size than normal and others smaller (he sells...

For sale: all of our forests. Not some of them, nor most of them – the whole lot

It seems genuine enough to me. I certainly signed. With this type of thing we won't find out the detail until it's too late. Some of the land could be sold to National Trust (if they have that sort of money?), but the reality is it's the start of the privatisation of public land.
