    I don't think you can beat the standard meths burner. It's safe, there's nothing to break or go wrong, and it doesn't need servicing or cleaning. I know there are faster burners out there, but who cares, when you're outdoors, what's the rush to boil a kettle, just sit back & relax! Low tech...

    Just logging in for the first time, I've been browsing for a while, I also look in at British Blades. To be honest, my interests are probably more general outdoors rather than full on bushcraft, hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing etc, but I'm sure I'll pick up plenty of worthwhile stuff!
