    Small Tarp

Which small tarp do people recommend? I want it for a shelter to sit under for day trips to woods so does not have to be too big. Preferably a UK compatible camo and lots of tie off points, light and compact for carrying. I already have the British Army Basha which is excellent but too bulky...

Boots - pure leather Vs membrane?

I never understand a top quality leather boot needing a waterproof liner makes no sense. Thick good quality leather and proofed with wax is way superior. The problem with liners is once they get wetted out they take an age to dry. I have had a set of Lowa Patrol boots with no liner for years...

    Soft and silent waterproof jacket?

I take all your points about Paramo but I already own an expensive goretex for the mountains and really can’t justify over £300 for a jacket for the woods! That said the next one down the Pajaro seems to have pretty much the same features plus the all important hand warmer pockets but is quite...

    Soft and silent waterproof jacket?

As nice as the paramo jacket is I am not sure I could justify paying double the price of a Ridgeline jacket, especially as its going to be used in a rough woodland environment!

    Soft and silent waterproof jacket?

I am in the market for a soft and silent waterproof jacket. Needs to have large pockets on the front, good coverage hood and preferably hand warmer pockets. Do not want a smock as it is going over a Bison wool smock for winter so prefer a full jacket for ease of putting on. Will be worn mainly...

    Ben Orford Knife lead times?

Anyone have a rough idea how long a custom Ben Orford knife lead time is? Is it a case of ordering then waiting? How long on average have people waited from placing order to receiving the knife?

Leather boots without a waterproof liner

$597!!! And I thought £136.99 was a lot! Don't mind the extra weight as durability is my primary concern so leaning toward the Lowas. How do Lowa owners find the sizing? I am a U.K. 10 in normal shoes do I need to go up half a size with the Lowas like AltBerg?
