Ham Hill is OK 'out of hours'. Nasty chavvy pub on top of the hill, but plenty of ways to get away from it, especially at liminal time, sunset etc. No camping though. Otherwise, around Glastonbury itself is a bit busy with people....will have a think....

We've already got lightweight, self inflating airbeds, but they don't really do it for me, especially in winter.....just not enough insulation between body and ground - even with a mat on top of the bed. And I still wake up aching and stiff. I think a 'proper' camp bed is the way to go......just...

I've always found the staff in OB *and* Millets to be a pretty friendly and knowledgeable bunch. Thanks for the Peacocks tip. Next buy really needs to be waterproof overtrousers though.....

I've got a fleece and outer shell from Oswald Bailey and I have to say the quality is really poor. Will buy a decent one from (maybe) Blacks or something from army surplus next time. Has anyone else experience of OB (vs Millets, for example)?
