Aldis tools are usually pretty good quality (not pro use - just man in a shed stylee) and their warranty can't be faulted. Their electronics range (Medion) is particularly good as they usually come with a 3 year no quibble warranty.
I got hit twice by a 'corky' ball twice in one games lesson at school. The games teacher called me corkyballs and the name stuck - 30+ years on my old school mates call me corky.
It may be set up in Google toolbar or if Google Toolbar isn't installed and you are using Internet Explorer Go to Tools > Manage Add Ons > Enable or Disable Add Ons
You should then be able to identify the add-in concerned and disable it.
Not sure about Firefox.
