i have posted a pic of the knife on my facebook page, we all should do the same. i have over 2000 friends on facebook and i am sure others must have quite a few as well. this will get pics of the knife out to those perhaps not part of our normal community.
dont know if this will work but it does for garlic. chop fine and mix with olive oil. pour into ice cube tray and freeze. once frozen take out of ice cube tray and fill up a poly bag in the freezer with the cubes. when you want some garlic just drop a cube into whatever dish you are cooking.
the other thing to be careful of is lymes disease. the combination of rats and rivers increase the danger.
you could try those new style rat traps that have have a metal plate on the bit the rat walks into when going for ya bait. once all contacts are made the rat is fried. sort of green mile...
neurofen plus is a good one. can only be sold by the pharmacist. apparently can only be taken for 3 days as they then become addictive.
worked for me while i waited for an abcess to get big enough so that i could lance it.
3 days worth might be a good thing to have in ya field first aid kit.
M65 for me. had one since early 2008. still looks like new even though it has been worn lots. slept in it, and even worn it with a suit underneath for work during the snow.
warm as toast with the liner and i like the fact that you can wash the outer and then rewaterproof it easily.
I also like...
a great addition to a poncho for some added insulation. we also use ours as a layer between our inflatable mattress and sleeping bags. when sleeping in the car when on the Mac Challenge, it made a nice warm blanket too.
that rifle will do you well, i suggest .22 if rabbit shooting.
nice bit of rabbit pie with some bacon in it tastes yum. or you could try the naval survival course version, first you are given a live rabbit........................ lol
