yep panic buying has started in the falkirk area. 3 garages were out of unleaded last night. I've a Plugin hybrid with about 40 mile range so that will do me for most trips.

Witcher 3 is up there with RDR2 for best game I've ever played. Horizon zero dawn are good too if you can get them on sale.

    Natural scents in our homes

I had some leylandii drying out beside the stove. Surprisingly nice before I did some homemade pakora and the house smells of garam masala :)

    Chris's trying out leatherwork thread

Some heresy perhaps but I don't like wet forming, maybe just me but I've never got it to grip as well as a nice tight sheath... It may depend on the shape of the knife handle, looks like you have a sort of finger guard that may help grip once you get over the wet formed hump, I've never had...

Leatherwork tools for two small jobs

You can do most of this with makeshift stuff if it's a one off. 1. Saddlers needles sizes no 2, small enough for detail big enough for a sheath. Pack of 25 will do a long time. You can get John James needles from Etsy and others 2. The eternal problem! veg tan Shoulders 3 - 3½mm should be...

    Open question - Financial

And like a tree it will spit out seeds some of which will prosper and grow and be as big and strong, if not stronger, than the original tree and these will also spit out seeds and so the cycle continues. I agree, simples, nice analogy.

    Bike Lights

Alpkit do loads of bikepacking stuff. I try and support my local bike shop which is the edinburgh bike coop so I'd recommend trying to do that. Otherwise there are big shops like wiggle, leisure lakes, evans, chain reaction etc etc. HTH

I've an old GSI Java Press. Don't think it's made anymore so :( May still find one. Great wee thing though, enough for one, all breaks down and nests together. I did a review over on Song of the Paddle but some photos here.

    Bike Lights

I've had a bunch of Moon lights, 1 big front eye melter and 1 front LED and 2 rear LED for 6-8 years and all have been great. My big front eye melter only gets charged in the autumn and I was worried about battery life but at 8 years it's doing ok! USB rechargeables are ace! try and go for...

    Any gamers on here?

One of the latest releases is https://atomfall.com/ Set in cumbria in about the late 50's early 60s maybe after windscale melts down. :) Kinda like fallout but more mystery involved. Open world, single player, rpg so right up my street but a bit expensive right now.
