    Wood for scales

It'll be a fair while before I'm set up to use it, but if you still have some when I've aquired the tools and space to work, that would be great! Thanks! :) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

    Wood for scales

Thanks for all the replies. Lot's of useful info there. I know I could order the scales in, and probably will do at first (now that I see how long it will take to dry the wood out!), but like the idea of creating something using locally found wood, supplied by mother nature. Is artificial drying...

    New FAK

I think the more important aspect is the condom. Use whatever you want to soak the blood up lol! Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

    New FAK

Apparently a sanitary towel and a condom are a good combination for self treating a head wound. Not easy to bandage your own head! ;) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

    Wood for scales

Hi, After following these forums for a while, I'm starting to feel inspired to make a knife! I'm just at the researching stage now and was wondering about the process of prepping wood (preferably found in local woodland etc.) For the scales.. Can anyone recommend any good resources that I...

    White marble pastry boaRD

I've no idea about the balance no soda idea, but you can buy really fine polishing pads, specifically for the job. Whatever you use to polish out the scratches, make sure you seal it properly before using it in the kitchen, as marble stains very easily. It scratches really easily too! Sent from...

Plant & Tree ID Masterclass with Paul Kirtley

Oh okay, I didn't realise the homework was submitted. That explains the limited numbers, and makes the cost seem a bit more reasonable. It's still beyond my budget unfortunately, but hey ho, that's life! My life anyway haha! Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Plant & Tree ID Masterclass with Paul Kirtley

No mention of a money back guarantee, but that wouldn't be a selling point for me. With this format, he's not limited to 6 or 10 clients for a course, although he does seem to be limiting it to some degree!?! Is that so the price can be pushed up? Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Plant & Tree ID Masterclass with Paul Kirtley

I was looking at this course, until I saw the price! And to be honest, I was a bit fed up with the hard sell by the time the price actually came up on the video. From what I saw, it would be a useful resource, but not worth £274 to me. I'm even put off from doing one of his bushcraft courses...

What is it with Bear Grylls and Pee!?!

I don't have an issue with them hamming it up for the camera's, it's the factual inaccuracies, that will get someone killed if they think they're doing the right thing, that get my goat! Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
