I've no idea about the balance no soda idea, but you can buy really fine polishing pads, specifically for the job. Whatever you use to polish out the scratches, make sure you seal it properly before using it in the kitchen, as marble stains very easily. It scratches really easily too! Sent from...

I was looking at this course, until I saw the price! And to be honest, I was a bit fed up with the hard sell by the time the price actually came up on the video. From what I saw, it would be a useful resource, but not worth £274 to me. I'm even put off from doing one of his bushcraft courses...
