I spent a week here a couple of years ago.

Lovely bit of the Peak district and if I remember rightly the 1-2 man tent pitches are right next to the river that flows through the site. Not sure if your driving but I seem to recall walkers rate was only £5 per night, but don't quote me on that.
Anyway nice site, good facilities and only a short walk into Hope.

The camping and caravaning club site at Hayfield is very good. It's a short walk into the village, which has some good pubs and places to eat.

Do you mean campsites as in 'an actual campsite with pitches and toilets and a reception' or campsites as in 'somewhere on a hill/in a valley/away from roads'....??

Because I don't use the former but I know loads of the latter in those parts.....
