I would doubt that there is anyone there who uses the stuff but a private tour would be a good idea. You might then be able to handle part of the collection.

A sailor told me that lamp oil is paraffin that is well filtered and burns cleaner. He found it important because he was still using paraffin lamps on board and didn't enjoy cleaning the globes too often. Besides the issue of pollution, it probably doesn't matter in the garden.
