Slime mould, not one I’ve seen before

I've seen a few slime moulds in the woods, dog vomit, slimeflux, dog sick & wolfs milk etc but can’t seem to pin this one down and it seems to be still growing. Initially thought it may have been false puffball but from what I have seen about it’s the wrong colour ( it’s alway been a light brown)
Any slime mould enthusiasts about?
The first shot was a few weeks ago but since the recent rain it’s grown which I’ve never seen before plus the way it’s weeping spots. It’s living on an oak and right where slimeflux has previously been spotted.
Unless it’s a fungi but it feels too wet when touched?

Turns out this is an Oak Bracket fungus

Not good for the tree as it causes white rot and decay to the trunk.
