We did the hammock camp, the first I've led as an Asst Scout Leader (had an ex DC as co-pilot), didn't get as much done as I wanted but I was staggered at the time it took a dozen able bodied teenagers to collect suitable firewood / tie hammocks up after they had done it in the hut a few nights before. I'll have to build all that into my planning next time. The main thing was they loved it and had a great time and want to do more by which time they'll be faster. The leaders all enjoyed it too so major success all round and now have to wait till March for the next one unless I can persaude them to do one in the depth of winter, either way I thnk more time as this was literally 24hrs.
