Very nice and lovely crisp lines and tooled finish. I particularly like the first cup and handled bowl.

Thanks Robin, coming from you that means an awful lot. A BIG thanks to everyone - I don't get out much and have a lot of time on my hands so the carving keeps me busy. Merrygold, I use spoon knives from Ben Orford and to be honest I couldn't say how long it takes me to do a spoon. I lose all track of time but I know I'm not the quickest, that's for sure. Things get finished when I'm happy with them, oiled then hung up to dry. Very addictive indeed.

Amazing i really like the long handled bowl. i would like to attempt at carving a kuksa or long handled bowl but never carved in my life. what tools would you recommend for a beginner?
