Has anyone got a Wilkinson Sword Type D survival knife for swap? Been after one for years and a friend said I might have some joy on here!?

Wilkinson Sword may well still make the Type D. A friend of mine bought one direct from them about four or five years ago.

The Wilkinson Sword 'sword and knife' division shut down a few years ago...if you want garden shears or a disposable razor you are okay but otherwise you need to look to the secondhand market for a genuine Wilkinson Sword one.

You can still get the MOD survival knife (similar/successor to the D type when Wilkinson no longer had the contract to supply the MOD) new from various sources (made in Sheffield but not Wilkinson)...for example, http://www.penrithsurvival.com/buy.aspx?pn=mod-survival-knife-leather-sheath_1593344123.htm

bought remaining Wilkinson stock.

As Hog says, BritishBlades would be a good source for an original and also detailed info on the knife.
