While the rest of the country was covered in snow, I was camping in Glencoe. There was only a light dusting of snow on the ground but the temperature at night dropped to -9 which was nice, the stars were out and the campfire really comes in to its own! there was very little in the way of wildlife but I did manage to capture this hungry stag.
The light was fading fast but next day he came back, this time over the other side of the river. I got quite close and he wasn't for moving! Too interested in munching on some fresh greens!
The lochan is starting to freeze over but the sun still managed to peek through.
On the way back to the campsite this little fellow was sitting in a bush just waiting to be photographed!
