As I assume your talking archery here Firemaker

Mine is a 58 pounds at 27 inches (I'm only a little chap you see) and I use a compound.

For a recurve I prefer a lighter draw weight, anywhere between 45 and 54 pounds.

Well, I'm just starting out with the recurve... 29 inch draw, pulling about 30 pounds at the minute and finding it quite enough so far. ;)

Wow, 58 pounds at 27 inches? What's the peak weight?

My compound is a peak of 45 pounds but drops off to about 20 at 29inches.

I draw 30" for field archery 32" for artillery shoots. My bows range from 30 to 60lbs but the one I use most is a magyar at 45lbs.

I'm just starting on an elm primitive bow. The target weight for that will be 50lbs but as always it will depend on what I find when I start hacking the wood about.

My longbows are marked from 60 - 65lbs at 28" though I tend to overdraw them by another 3", so who knows. I used to use them for day long tournaments so I'd like to get something a bit heavier (though still a longbow) for the occasional fun shoot - more like a good war bow
I've seen the Mary Rose exhibition with bow staves as thick as a mans wrist, it makes mine look positively puny in comparison, even the 65 is like a broom handle!

45lb target, 60lb field. @28.5" - recurves.

Longbow is probably around 55lb and might get piked to up it a touch. Was shooting 55 field when I made it and it feels a bit light now.

I like around 50-60lbs at 27 or 28 inches or 45lbs for short draw plains bows, but I don't get to shoot much at the moment.
