Can't beat a set of Screwfix workman's waterproofs for rainy weather, or if it's dry I'll wear Ventile.

During the last few weeks, while it's been a wee bit damp, outer layers for me are Swazi Tahr, GoreTex boonie, ME GoreTex salopettes, Sorel boots.
Lashing down again here at the moment, snow forecast for later. I just wish it would get proper cold soon.

For foul and cold weather dog walking I use a Gill OS2 suit.

It was given to me - there's no way I can afford a set of these :(

If it's tipping down then it's a Keela waterproof (can't remember the model but it's green), a pair of Keela Rainlife trousers, a Bam base layer and a Craghopper micro fleece and Craghopper Kiwi trousers. On my feet either Le Chameau wellies or Hanwags Special Forces leather boots. When it's not raining have been trying out a Fjallraven Sarek Trekking jacket. Am trying to get to grips with the waxing though. When I first wore it, I got caught a shower and the rain soaked straight through the hood. I have gradually been adding layers of wax and it seems to be improving. Surprisingly enough the Buffalo sp 6 hasn't seen any use this year, way to warm down here.

hey Tim B, interesting about your Sarek Jacket. just posted an article here on using Nikwax wax cotton proof instead of G1000 wax. seems to work on my Sarek and really do love that jacket.
As for my Pooch walking clobber, Sarek jacket, fjallraven trousers, either my sealand wells or lundhags boots, sealskins sporting gloves and a tweed flat cap. Dog has a ruff wear jacket but is embarrassed to be seen in public in it, lol!
