Well decided not to go to derwent due to the thick frost in the garden so went wast water instead. Although there was a bit of ice on the edges thelake was like a mill pond with stunning reflections of the fells. Not really that bushcrafty but the weather was too good to put up the tarp Just wait till the fishing season starts.... Saw a nice wood that looks like its above the intake wall when we were out so will have to have a look with a view to wild camp. Hope you like the pics.

Whilst down at the top (or bottom) we saw a plane fly low over head and then land on the lake.....I alwawas for "non powered" craft I wonder what the NT would make of this..
Itwas a cracking sight mind and the kids were amazed.. nice fellas too. Just wondering if this could be the next bushcraft tool?????? (try explaining that to the wife!!)
