As title guys.

Anyone got some seasoned hawthorn, just enough for a knife handle?

Need a bit for a commission.

Thanks. :)

May have some left from doing the two heavy walking sticks from the tree that died in the back yard. It's well seasoned and has a striking variation between the heart wood and the rest. Will have a look when I get a moment to dig through the stack.

Middle son found it for me. How big do you need? What I have is a a two foot length of a split in two three inch across trunk, It's well seasoned, the centre inch is faintly reddish heart wood, the rest pale cream but both darken a lot with oiling. If it suits I can whip it through the band saw any size tha likes, I won't be using it again I reckon. It's what I used for the handle on the big longseax.

Pm me with what you want and a address and I'll get it off, My Hermes Ok in your area?
