My cousin who's currently working in the Alaska school system posted this on Facebook and I thought I'd share it on this forum for anybody wanting a change of lifestyles. Last year (her first year in the Alaska School System) she was a teacher at a small native village, Napaskiak. This year she's the principle (I believe the equivalent of your headmaster) at a slightly larger native village. She's loved the adventure very much so far.
