Finished making this today so I thought I'd share.
Blackthorn stick with antler toggle, inlays and a 3.5mm veg tanned leather handle.
It's the first leather handle I've stitched. I think it turned out OK

Bit hard to say it sort of involved. The Leather handle took a while to do. First I thought I could make a tube soak in water push it on and then when the leather dried it would tighten but i couldn't get the stick through so that didn't work. Next I stitched the leather around the stick, but it was loose so I had to cut it off glue and stitch it on which seems to be ok. I'm going out for a bit of a bimble latter so we'll see.

Nice work like it , do you stitch the leather when wet so it shrinks onto the stick ?

Why did you use blackthorn? It looks great, but does it have other positive features?
