I spent a pleasant couple of hours yesterday cutting bark from a felled birch tree and ended up with a really nice pile. I have no idea what I am going to do with it yet but its in the garage gently calling me :D

Oh yes and as my back has not hurt for a whole month its time to try the fire by friction again :D

Oh yes I found this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcHulpLujwU , anybody we know? :)

Ill be finishing a half made kuksa, making a sand stone fat lamp, getting out and practising with my atlatl when it isn't raining and practising making fires in damp weather when it is raining (I have a feeling I will be doing more of that than atlatling  ). Not to mention feeling grotty because of the short days :( .

what are you going to do with your days off over the christmas period?

To paraphrase the Prince Regent in Blackadder The Third,
I shall be "Roaring, Rogering, Gorging & Puking!" :lmao:

Well, thats the plan, anyway!
Its a full life!!

Oh lord.. two weeks... let's see...

-Begin and hopefully finish Mora Scandi Knife
-Begin and finish Bucksaw for the competition (I will have that axe.. oh I will have that axe...)
-finish War shirt
-Take photos of knife, saw, and shirt for BCUK ;)

So far that's the list I remember...

First of all I wish everyone here a very nice christmas and all the best for next year.

- I still have two blades which need a handle and a sheath
- finish my two handbuild ice fishing rods
- a lot of walking with my dog
- sell some gear i dont use anymore
- some carp fishing ( when there is no ice on the water)
- make a crooked knife from a old file or kitchen blade
- have some fun with my girlfriend.....
