Swiss military backpack

Has anyone ever used one of these? They look really impressive and I was thinking of picking one up. Sadly, I can't seem to find a retailer in the UK so before I make the plunge, I thought I'd ask if anyone has any past experience with them.

I haven't, but a I have a Swedish M39 which is similar but without the back pocket. Like this:

These are good for the money. To throw in a canoe or car boot.

I had one that I got from that exact store. They are good if you want a canvas backpack. They are not good if you want a backpack for carrying gear over distance.

I have one, well built, heavy, reasonably waterproof. You can get a bread bag to go with it. As rg598 says not for long hauling but fine for car to camp (ie. distances up to 5kms)

Edit: I actually like it for the above use and its gets taken out reasonably often on that basis. It won't let you down its built like a tank. I recall seeing a UTube of it in use try "Swiss Transport Rucksack" or the like.
