I've got a Vango Halo 2 which seems nice and solid, but at 3.5kg it's a bit on the heavy side.

It's also quite large. No just pack size, but roomy. Which is good in summer, but more volume to heat I guess in winter.

I'm going to be camping mostly in quite open spaces, often on rocky ground, with high winds and low nightly temperatures (so ventilation will be important. I loved my old Aztec Esquina Plus before the GF burned it in an accident.

One of the bonuses of the Halo is that it is mostly free standing, which helps difficult ground sometimes.

In that price range (£150-£200) is there anything else worth looking at that can comfortably sleep 2?

Sorry to add to the million and one tent threads ;-)
