Just finished this for someone.

I've used gum trag to seal in the dye and then Ren wax.
Anyone have opinions on Resolene. Is it any better?

Cheers

Thanks.

I have some resolene but haven't used it yet, just the gum tragacanth. It's like edge coat, I've heard good and bad on that too. Comparisons would be useful.

I have resolene but don't use it any more. I find it leaves a surface texture that makes the leather look and feel like chrome tanned. Not what I'm looking for in a finish.
