During this Summers Grouse beating season, we have more than our fair share of wet days. On these wet days, I have been amazed how many of the gamekeepers and regular beaters were wearing these Schoffel jackets. I asked around and most wearers said they mostly kept dry, even after several hours of constant rain. These jackets are very light weight and can be folded into a pocket. Problem is, they don't come cheap (+/- £170)
Do we have any experience of this jacket on here? Or, any recommendations for a similar,lightweight jacket that might be better or cheaper?
