Hi all,
Today I decided to re handle a little axe I got from a bit fair for a couple of quid.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out and will definitely try this again!

You'd probably be safer taking sfa.

When I'm out for the day I usually find that a Laplander and a small hatchet are usually fine. I mainly just use the hatchet for splitting down smaller stuff. But it's all trail and error when I comes to kit selection. But I would always take my sfa if I'm spending the night out.
