Pouch for straight razor?

This is partly my fault I suppose.

I'm looking for a straight razor pouch pattern to make from leather.
My father has recently got into using a straight razor, after seeing me build up quite a collection over the past couple of years. The only thing is that he travels alot and the razors are getting pretty beaten up.

Does anyone have any patterns for leather pouches that I could knock up for a Christmas gift?

Just mark a shield shape on paper fold it in half see if the razor fits inside if so, transfer to leather cut out and stitch together finish edges etc
