Not very exciting at all this one; really just to show what you can knock up with virtually no expense and which doesn't take a whole lot of time.
Here's a small hone I made with two off-cuts of leather from a sheath project and a small flat bit of wood. I stuck the leather flesh side outermost on one side for polishing and the other way on the other side for the stropping compound.
It works very well.
I made a slip case for it as well, using a bit of old suede from the scraps box at my local (proper) shoe repairer.
