I was in Debenhams in Dundee today, and they had boxes of 48 Panasonic AA Alkalines for £9 each, so I picked up a couple.
They're probably most likely to be found in the homewares area, or ask staff if they have any left.
With Christmas comin up, and long dark winter nights outside, cheap batteries are always useful to stockpile.
