Thank you chaps. I've really enjoyed making these.

I really like the graceful way you finished the ends! Did you apply anything to protect the wood from food while keeping it food-safe?

I should mention the one imperfection I noticed on the plate... It's empty! :)

Woodsorrel, I gave everything two liberal coats of Walnut oil, then I made a 50/50 mix of Beeswax and Walnut oil, and them all a good polishing. Will also clean and repolish after every outing. Not sure if this is correct, but it makes sense to me. I'm also open to any advice on this subject.

That's just the bee's knees!!! What a great little set you've made yourself there, I bet you'll get a real buzz when you use them on their inaugral cook-up........Great stuff :)
