Steve which part of the wood will we be using. Just found Middleton House Farm on Map. How close can I get to campsite with my motor{bearing in mind what I told you earlier}. Hope Ishould be ok with road tyes as the muds take a lot off fuel consumtion.

Sals got it covered, re parking as per our PMs rain or shine and with your vehicle will be CP3, which is a couple of minutes from the pitches.

As my lad Jacob will be 12 on the Tuesday after, I'm trying to come up with some way of doing a birthday cake for him during the meet.
I was planning on bringing one down for him, but he'd see it in the car...

Any thoughts on how to knock something up in the woods?

I spose a dutchie could be an answer with a cake mix and buttercream icing if you don't want to make from scratch.... alternatively, is there any good bakers nearby, Urban-Forager-Gurus?!

I will definately be there on Thrusday evening due to traffic and work finishing times not fully ceratian at exact time will get there, but car will be packed tonight I will be bring a few things along for people who have requested books, maunals and other stuff with me. I will also have cordage and cylumes and other bits and bots and normally requested. See you all there

If anyone is interested, I could bring along a selection of liquid-fuel stoves - Primus Omnifuel and Multi-fuel, Omnifuel mounted in Trangia 25, Brunton Lander a genuine Kovea Booster - not the markedly inferior chinese copy, Optimus 8R, 111 and a few cooksets - Sigg Tourist, Optimus 88, Primus etapower EF (the 2013 version) - for folks to have a look at and play with? (Depending of course on me finding them!)

Also got an "interesting" wood-burner stove/water boiler/oven to play with - very shiny!
