My Homemade Crooked Knife

Made this from a old kitchen blade and some pear wood.

The wrapping is with waxed cotton threath.

no, what i mean is when I stretch my arm forward the blade of the knife does not make a angle og 90 degrees with my hand ( and the wood ) but something about 70 degrees.

It works well dough but next time better.

Ther was a ouble edge on the blade and also this is not preffered, so also next time better.

I have been thinking about making one of these for a while now

The curved tip is for hollowing bowls and such. The Crooked Knife is actually named after the handle, several Crooked Knives are made with no bend in the tip.
