My daughters school project

She has been asked to built a boat capable of crossibg a body of water. Under 50cms in length.

I suggested a small plywood canoe. I cut the pieces and drilled the holes. Under my instructions, shes done the rest.

Shes 8. She got stuck right into the lacing and loved the sealant. It floats too.

Excellent, a sewn boat is the way to go. Did she do the design?

More of a joint effort there. She drew one and I made it out of paper, refining until a) she was happy AND b) I thought we stood a decent chance of being able to build it

Very nice your Daughter has got a talent there its nice when you can look at your children and they can work with there hands and make things as well as a computer
