Very crude, it's my first attempt. Used pop rivets and really basic tools. Tomorrow I'm going to take it to the sander and make it pretty. Then sand the handle down and oil it.

Nothing crude about it. I need masks for several of my larger wood carving tools (draw knife and a couple of adzes.)
Question: what prevents the axe bevel edge from hitting the shafts of the rivets?
