Knife oil

I thought I'd share with you my favourite oil that I use on my knife and axe. It's a bit unusual but works really well and therefore deserves a post!

It's the fully synthetic wet bicycle chain lubricant by Finish Line. Only a tiny dab on a piece of cotton is needed and it stays on even in wet conditions. It also cleans sap very well and costs under a fiver!

Mind you I wouldn't use it on a knife used for food prep!

Will give that a go. Plenty of it in the shed but of all the oils I have I've never thought of using that stuff on any of my cutting tools.

I'm still on a bottle of Tuf-Glide I got given .. must be ten years ago Brilliant it is with the needle applicator.
