Stayed at Point Sands Campsite. Basic but stunning location and views to Gigha, The Paps of Jura and beyond. Plenty Cup Marked boulders, Standing stones and Duns, for those interested. Very windy.

Returned via the Bird of Prey centre near Gartocharn. Great place with beautiful birds, a huge African Owl.
Some pics below inc. a cool wee Kestrel. Unfortunately the blowing sand has jammed the zoom, so no close ups of the birds.

Then climbed up Duncryne for a view of Loch lomond.

Great pics... especially the birds :)

err.. could you explain what "Cup Marked boulders" are please?

As in wikipedia, plenty around Kintyre. And up in Kilmartin glen north of Lochgilphead.
Great places for Geocaches.

Photos - was annoyed I damaged my camera as those birds of prey are totally photogenic. http://www.llbop.co.uk/

I've not camped there, usually at Port Ban, so that is a new site to add to my list.
Thanks,
