Obviously the G-1000 has wax, but they both seem to made of a similar mix of poly-cotton. I was wondering if anyone here has owned both and could make list pros and cons of each.
Is G-1000 Fabric any better than the 5.11 TDU or Taclite material?

I have both. G1000 is overrated. Even with the wax it isn't very waterproof and it tears pretty easily. I would go for 5.11 products every time over Fjallraven.
