This week we've been making fire in the back yard from flints and King Alfreds cakes Next week we're going to have a go at the bow/hearth sticks

When I was fishing down in Devon recently an old Cornish chap took the trouble to come over and have a chat with me. Great guy, down to earth, a humungous beard, and salt of the earth (or sea, as that was his speciality from the conversation) I thought I knew a little about the sea, but this senior Cornish citizen had me transfixed with his stories. He was explaining things about the sea and fishing that I knew, and then some I didn't know. Great respect for the chap. Great memory for me........ Welcome and enjoy.
