I'm not exactly new to bushcraft, having been active in the woods since before the term bushcraft was invented. I've recently had a career redirection from the fire service to outdoor education, so I'm looking forward to learning of all the new developments since my days of reading Survival, Weaponry and Techniques magazine (they later dropped the term "weaponry" from the title!) in the eighties...
I found the time to attend The Wilderness Gathering last month and was impressed with how things have moved on...
I hope to get more involved in the Forum in the near future.

I still have every issue I ever bought, which is quite a few! Your good-self, John Haw, Richard Cooke et al made quite an impression on my young mind..
For some reason I particularly remember "John Fenna goes Abseiling"!
