I usually borrow equipment so I'd probably be more inclined to go down the route of
easily attachable tie-on stuff like the hi viz snap bands (eg cycling) or reflective
tape that you can cut strips and loop onto things, or adhesives.

Off teh top of my head I think ther is a 15m and 17m length of line and 30 line-loks.

I remember seeing hanks of GID floating cord in an army surplus place in plymouth once... maybe try yaught chandlers and boaty places??
